Tastee T Production, a pioneering Tokyo-based independent label specializing in the cassette tape format, launched in 2017, and their first release of 2024 is a conceptual mix titled "Brain Cell ■■■■■■■■■" by DJ FUJI, head of Novel Attraction Records, who has been attracting props from both Japan and overseas for his work as the solitary MC Yamahito da Sportsman, the hip-hop project Middle with his ally AJIA, and the beat scientist The Faaaj, who released a collaboration with Guilty Simpson in 2023.

This mix, "Brain Cell ■■■■■■■■■," marks DJ FUJI's first in over a year, and is an exciting piece that deploys an "abstract" sound approach, which has become a secret keyword in recent years in the underground hip-hop scene, as well as among the discerning ears of the house/techno scene.
